I founded Balance 2 Heal because I believe yoga can be used for healing the mind, body and soul. Let me help you heal.
My introduction to yoga was in infancy when my mother, who was a yoga instructor, used to include me in her practice. Then, throughout my life I have used yoga to stay strong and flexible. In addition to being a certified yoga instructor, I have an additional depth of study in restorative yoga, certification in yin, and a certification for teaching yoga for cancer patients.
Yoga and meditation have played a critical role in my life. With these practices, I have been able to stay positive and healthy through all I have experienced, gaining not only physical strength and flexibility but an inner peace that keeps me grounded. In my classes, I use my personal experience and my professional training to help others. I create a safe space where you can release stress, reconnect to your body and feel relief.
My formal experience includes:
Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with the Yoga Alliance. Experience teaching 5+ classes per week since 2017.
Certified Yin Yoga Teacher
Certified by the Christina Phipps Foundation to teach yoga to cancer patients.
